Swedish Jazz singer Anneli Evaldson released her debut album Just in case at the end of 2009 at Stockholm Jazz Records.

But, already in childhood she knew music was her calling in life. Raised by a single mom she grew up in a suburb of Stockholm and spent every free moment at the turntable singing along to Anita Baker, Etta James and George Benson and other soul heroes.

At the age of 29 Anneli had to make a big change in life and moved to London. She ended up staying for four years and that's when she fell deeper in love with jazz. She started to perform around London and once back in Sweden she was determent to get her music going.

For the last couple of years she has had the privilage to play with some of Sweden's finest jazz musicians. The album the Afterglow was released in November 2012.
